Important Race Day Info

Race Day Preparation 101

The day / night before:
1. Stick to familiar foods (emphasis on carbohydrates). Drink lots of water.
2. Double check directions / meeting time / location.
3. Gas up your car and / or arrange carpooling (the TTC and Go-Train do not operate early on Sunday morning)
4. Set your alarm clock!
5. Get your gear ready the night before!

Dress appropriately for the weather and wear:
• your “A Run for Liane” t-shirt / hat, visor / cap, sunglasses, sunscreen etc. 
• your bib number (pin onto t-shirt)
• your timing chip (thread onto shoe lace), if required
• towel(s) / kleenex
• change of clothes (warm sweatshirt), socks and shoes for after the run
• water bottle / sports drink / money.

The day of:
• Eat a light breakfast / power bar.
• Arrive at the meeting place an hour before race time.

 Nathan Phillips Square (Bay just north of Queen)

Meeting Time / Place

6:30 / 7:00 (depending on your start time) - Team sign in Nathan Phillips Square (northeast corner of Queen and Bay) near the skating rink washrooms. We will be taking pictures.

Parking

We highly recommend you park north of Queen. You can get stuck in road closures if you park as suggested by the run web site.

Bring money for parking.

Baggage check

Available at City Hall. A $2 charge per bag. Baggage will be open from 6:30am to 1:00pm.
